In 2016, due to the efforts of Directorate of Culture (RICH) , Zeek foundation was able to organise the event known as “Da Hujray Rangoona ao Mehfiloona”. The event’s basic theme was to revive the hujra culture through folk music, poetry and gathering of the local community under one roof. As per our culture and traditions hujra not only served as a place for entertainment but also it was a place where community used to gather under and resolved their problem.It served as social institution where children were educated through learning from their elders as well as people used to gather at hujra which served for uniting the community. These events not only gathered the community and entertained them with local music and poetry but also served as a platform for the local artist to reveal themselves and their capable potentials to the outer world

Year 2005, areas in north of Pakistan were jolted with tremors. Hundreds of thousands of people were affected by the earth quake in Azad Kashmir and adjacent areas. Zahid Noor Afridi (aka ZEEK), an artist felt the pain of sufferers while he was travelling in affected areas to help.
